The bottom line is simple - you've chosen the 80% route for a lower, based on a self-proclaimed proprietary upper. What you should do is stick with the 80% lower, if that's your definite path - but use a known upper receiver, instead of going after lowest-priced upper receiver. I don't think it'll work with the DPMS G1/Aero M5 pattern lowers unfortunately. I'd contact PSA directly. I have an Alexandria ProFab .308 upper on an Aero M5 lower. The rear takedown pin hole on the upper needed slight fitting because the pin fit very tight. The PA-10 may work, YMMV.

The PSA PA-10 lower is considered a low shelf dpms gen 2 clone, but much of the lower parts are proprietary to PSA. specifically the takedown pins, magazine release and bolt catch. with the PSA lower, you need the PSA parts kit to get it to work. fit of the PA-10 lower to various DPMS gen 2 uppers may or may not work, or look proper due to the profile of the upper no visually matching the upper.

AR-10 parts are harder to come by, and they are not as interchangeable between manufacturers. Because of these reasons and others, the AR-10 platform would not be ideal for 80% lower receivers. What this means is important when it comes time to purchase upper receivers, lower parts kits, etc.
